okay this is just pathetic. i have, in effect, been working on this paper for the past 3 days and all i've got is a lousy introduction. not even a good introduction. one of those lame attempts to be funny type of introduction. ughhh. this is just rich.

today, saturday, i am going to stay home, sit put on my uncomfortable ikea chair and bang out at least 3 pages of useful information. no clubbing, no partying, no shopping. no phonecalls, no coffee "breaks", or even smoke breaks for that matter. no tv (not like theres anything on saturdays anyway), no internet. i will pull the plug out of my computer as soon as i am done blogging. thats right, this is serious business. no namby pamby wishy washying.

good. now we've got our priorities straightened out.

yesterday was not a very successful work day. meant to work on my paper in the afternoon but ended up falling sleep on housemate's bed for a good part of my alloted "work time". met winnie in the city mid afternoon to get some last minute shopping done (for her). winnie also bought 2 gorgeous pairs of shoes (clearly not part of her last minute shopping list, but we'll ignore that for a mo) and i got a fabulous present for my huney. thinking about it is getting me all excited again!

twinnie calls me up in the evening and we decide to meet at brunetti's to catch up on almost a week's worth of not seeing each other. see what school work does? it tears loved ones apart! i missed my twinnie so.

winnie is leaving in another 2 hours. have a safe flight, and be good when you get back and make sure my huney is good too ok? see you soon. xoxo.

this is not good at all. it is already early friday morning and i have yet to start on my essay. well, i have like 6 words down actually (name, title of class, question number), so really not a bad start right? ok so i'm royally fucked. but hey, i still have the weekend to get this sorted out. and at the most i'll skip the maybe/perhaps party this sunday. oh i dunno. at any rate, walking around with a marker and a clipboard (courtesy of winnie who gave me a CRATE full of scholarly supplies) isnt really working for me. shall seriously get down to thinking about topic. as soon i get i done with this quiz, taken off lynn's blog. its quite funny really.

well winnie gave me this crate of stationary today right and like theres this little box inside the crate. inside the little box, there are 11 wrapped and unused erasers (the white rubbery kind) and like 7 things of pencil lead fillers and another 5 boxes of staplers, 4 tubes of liquid paper and a shit load of transparencies. i dont know if its just me..but thats really kinda weird. wahahhaha :D

i am really quite dreadfully sick right now. i think pool/coffee with claud, diane etc got to me. took lots of robotussin to keep the cough away and cold medicine before i met them and was all hunky dory until i got home. now my nose doesn't quite work, my throat feels scratchy, my head hurts and i feel i may be burning up.

sigh i'm going to miss this homie when she goes to sydney. dont worry, i will fill you in on all the gossip! party when you come back okay?? :D

have yet to start on my paper as have no freaking clue what i'm going to write about.

this is really most depressing. poor twinnie is working through the night too, i know. *yangyang. i love you sweetie.

at this rate, i ought to be happy if i can even finish in time to go back to singapore in june. forget brisbane. hahaha. ok, work beckons. will get general outline of paper done by tonight at least.

oh jesus I AM SO FREAKING SLEEPY!!!


*addendum at 441am: just got bitten by mosquito. and i miss winnie big time :(

homie claud has just left the building. hahah. and now, my hip bones are aching. hurting. i seriously cant cit down cross legged for too long. my hip joints start acheing and all. quite poor thing hor. got bunion problems, hip problems and today my eye brow was throbbing for a full hour. :(

claud so sweet u know, burn the eamon cd for me all.

had coffee and munchies with claud at hairy canary tonight. just the two of us, lomance lomance abit. hahahha. twinnie should have joined us but i reckon she was up to her ears with homework...as am i actually..but yeah. tommorow i am going to the library to do research for my paper!


someone remind me to log online tommorow night...like 8ish pm..to register for my classes for next semester back in the states. very depressing.

i suppose they're right when they say its always more fun to club with a big group. that was us at next blue last night. a big group. claud and friends, jev, sammii, me, winnie. it really was a great deal of fun. i have thus decided to renounce alcohol as i realized last night that i can have fun and i would dance when not intoxicated. thats a very good thing. but last night was just crazy and we have pictures to prove it. have also decided to cut down on smoking as throat is fairing quite badly at the mo.

met winnie for dumpling late lunch/early dinner. man oh man, im so freaking addicted to the bloody dumplings soaked in vinegar. totally yums. winnie had dan dan noodles and i think she quite enjoyed it too. didnt you winnie? now you owe me big time..now you HAVE to bring me to stokers. or my huney will scold you!

maybe coffee with claud at nocs or something in a little bit if she's up for it. will attempt to get some reading done right now.
